Or hard drama (PG!) as The Tchekist or The Checkpoint (Блокпост) - unfortunately no ref. Among contemporary* movies, notably most anything from Alexandr Rogozhkin įrom his cult slapstick series "Peculiarities of National." Now, thanks to "joecool" I'm glad I can share some of my favourites, now I found them with subtitles.
I agree on the classic comedies, some of them really whacky, chosen by "vintorez".
